Mae governan! Welcome to my bio!
I'm a 20-something girl from the States that is extremely passionate... and one of my secret passions is writing :) After attending college I thought my desire to write was decimated; all those long boring papers nearly killed me! However, I got caught up in an old past time of reading fanfic and suddenly I got to thinking... 'Hey! Look at all these amazing authors who are doing these awesome things! Maybe I *can* start writing again'. Thus began my renewal of writing.
BTW: My user name 'Luna' is not the Luna of Harry Potter fame... It means 'moon' in Spanish. I chose it because I only write at night, preferably by the light of the moon (plus my laptop of course;).
I cross-post on these sites as well:
Con mucho amor~ Luna
wow...this is very very VERY sad
I'm thirding the *hugs*. If this happened to you, I wish you well on your journey to get through this moment. I do appreciate how you describe the feelings, particularly in the 1st and 3rd paragraph.
ha. cute title and story. i like mocking the fellowship :)
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! My sister said it was cute, too. It's one of those stories where the reader sees what really goes on with the Fellowship behind the scenes. ;-) ~Katrina Mae
Enjoyed this short poem! i too like the :
You take my weapon away, fling it into the oak.
It trembles like my body in your arms.
'Legolas was sitting at the kitchen table with a very confused look while he thought, ‘How did we get here…I want to go back…but yet I don’t…I want to learn more about here…and more about Suki…I don’t know why but I feel a strange connection to her…I wonder how she feels about me…I mean us…yeah us.’ '
This is fun!!! You def need to continue :)
Author's Response: Hehe. I'm going continue, you can count on that. Thanks for revewing! -Fay
hahahahahha! wow, this makes me want to reread the books and rewatch the movies afterward... Its been a while since I've read the books and I never made the connection about Elrond being girly hahaha! I think I was too focused on other pretty things ;)
Author's Response: I haven't read the books in a while but surprisingly I remembered as much as I did. Heh. My sister and I always make fun of Elrond. Now you'll never be able to look at him the same way ever again! ;P
I enjoy your conversations with Tolkien :)
"I'm here aren't I?" He counters with a wry smile.
True, very true. You can't argue with that logic.
haha. i like silly things like this. my fav is aragorn wanting 'smokes and women'. oh, and boromir loving death metal. I say boromir should start a Mosh pit!!!!
I've been a member on this site for a year now and been reading fanfic on and off before that. But there are a couple concepts whose popularity I do not understand.
1. It seems that slash is an extremely popular concept. Now I'm a proud gay rights supporter so it isn't the slash that baffles me but the fact that it seems all the slash fic I see is written by women and I guess it would make more sense in my mind for gay men to write it... I'm not sure but where does the appeal come from?
2. On the topic of incest, those are stories I certainly don't get... Not only is it amoral but from a canon perspective I definitely don't see the elves getting down and dirty like that. Is it just the excitement of the taboo that makes people write incest stories?
Although I admit I haven't even purposely read many incest fics. Recently I've become a big fan of Olorime and her story Broken. When she posted the chapters of her latest fic that is an incest fic between Arwen/Elladan/Elrohir I did start reading it and thus far like it because I love her writing style. As for the central theme of the story I guess I'm just not thinking about it morally at the moment and going wherever the story leads
Anyways, my comments are not meant to offend. I really have just been curious as to why those themes are as popular as they are. I would appreciate any light that could be shed on it. Thanks ;)
gasp! Noooo Faramir, noooo!
I love Eowyn!
WOW. I was not expecting THAT.
finally got a view of what it was about the King that brought her husband such physical joy. She bit her lip painfully to stifle a shocked exclamation of awe.
Author's Response: Luna, thanks for reading and commenting! I'm glad you didn't turn back after the initial shock of what happens in chapter 1, and stayed on to see the matter clarified (if we can use that word here). I love Eowyn too, and I assure you, making her (or anyone else) suffer has never been this story's purpose. Although, admittedly, so far suffering in one form or another is indeed what she's most busy with. But we'll see how things develop...
Interesting so far :)
Hi! *waves* It's been a long time but I got this email update and had to re-read this story. Mmmm Glorfinde... :) You paint such a delicious scene.
Hope all is well!
