12. No. 12 Medicine by 13eyond13irthday [Reviews - 0] (5997 words)
This is the longest story I have written so far for the 100 Theme Challenge and was by far the most fun to write. For those who don't know what Repo! The Genetic Opera is, google it and perhaps Youtube the songs as well xD It's a great rock opera.
21st Century Cure
These are the two songs included in the story. Youtube them, you won't regret it xD

13. No. 13 Ancient. by 13eyond13irthday [Reviews - 0] (4429 words)
This is also quite a long chapter for my 100 Theme Challenge. It is a crossover of The Odyssey by Homer and Lord of the Rings. For those who do not know the Odyssey, look it up on Sparknotes, it has a very good plot overview.
I'm adding a list of who the characters are in relation to the two different stories.
Aragorn - Odysseus (The hero of the story)
Arwen - Penelope (Odysseus' wife)
Eldarion - Telelmachus (Odysseus' son)
Faramir - There are two characters he could be. Either Athene (who meets Odysseus on the shores of Ithaca and warns him to be careful) or Eumeaus (Odysseus' trusty swine herd who helps Odysseus fight and kill the suitors).
Boromir - Can also be seen as Eumeaus.
Denethor - Antinous (the most arrogant and rather cunning of the suitors)
Legolas - He can be seen as either Nausicaa (Princess of the Phaeacians, who finds Odysseus on the beach and advises him on what actions to take), Arete (Queen of the Phaeacians, and the most influential. It is to her that Nausicaa advises Odysseus make his appeal) or Alcinous (King and leader of the Phaeacians, a man who listens to Odysseus' story and then provides him with safe passage back home.) If I had gone into a little more detail Legolas would probably represent all three of these people at once.
The Valar - The Greek Gods. (Though in the Odyssey they both hinder and help Odysseus here they are just seen to be helping him by sending a vision to Faramir.)
Characters: Aragorn, Faramir, Boromir, Denethor, Arwen, Eldarion (mentioned), The Valar (mentioned), Legolas.
Setting: Ithaca, Ancient Greece.
Warnings: Slight OOC to fit with the story.
Cross-over: The Odyssey by Homer & LOTRs.
Word Count: 4,431.

With the help of this boy and his older brother, Aragorn seeks to regain the throne that is rightfully his, threatened by the cunning and evil suitors.
14. No. 14 Modern by 13eyond13irthday [Reviews - 0] (3998 words)
This was probably another of my most favourite fanfics to write for this challenge as well, though it is quite short but the idea was something that I really liked, so writing it was fun.
It's rather Faramir centric, because when I wrote this I was discovering a love I had for him as a character. Also, I really like writing Aragorn/Legolas fics, so even though that is something in this fic, I didn't want that to be the central theme.
This fic is set in a British style college education system, since I'm English, however the subjects are based on what I imagine people to learn in Middle Earth.
Characters: Faramir, Boromir, Aragorn, Legolas, Elladan, Elrohir, Haldir, Arwen, Gimli, Gandalf, Eomer.
Warnings: Legolas/Aragorn, implied Elladan/Elrohir.
Cross-over: You could say English Earth Schooling/LOTRs characters.
Word Count: 3,984.
Story: Faramir is starting at a new college alongside his brother Boromir and a lot more people that Boromir knows, though he does not like them all. Faramir however is determined to make his own opinions of everybody in the college. From his lessons to being bullied to meeting new people and being embarrassed Faramir has an interesting first day in college.
15. No. 15 Futuristic by 13eyond13irthday [Reviews - 0] (980 words)
This theme was rather difficult for me to think of an idea for, how to write a futuristic fanfic for Middle Earth?
Then I decided, why not set it in the Third Age with the characters from LOTRs but with technology that would be futuristic for the characters from the First and Second Ages? So that's what I did.
A Leaftop is, very obviously just another word for Laptop but from Middle Earth, not that imaginative but oh well.
Legolas - Greenleaf - GL
Haldir - MarchWardenHaldir - MWH
Elladan - Elrohir - ELR
Elrohir - Elladan - ELL
Estel - Hope - H
These are the characters and what their handles are when they're online and what I've shortened them to.
Characters: Legolas, Aragorn/Estel, Elladan, Elrohir, Haldir, Thranduil, Elrond (mentioned), the Dunedain (mentioned), Arathorn (mentioned).
Setting: Mirkwood, Middle Earth.
Warnings: Implied Legolas/Estel.
Cross-over: LOTRs and modern technology.
Word Count: 6,514.
Story: A younger Legolas is given a Leaftop as a present from his father and uses it to talk to both his friends and meet new people. One of the people he meets, a boy named Estel, is of particular interest to him.
He soon finds out that Estel is leaving because he found out his true heritage without saying goodbye so he sneaks out of his home in Mirkwood to find him.
16. No. 16 Good by 13eyond13irthday [Reviews - 1] (1114 words)
This story also was hard for me to come up with an idea for, but I did it. It's also very short, because I can't write Frodo/Sam fics that are very long xD
Characters: Frodo, Sam, Merry (mentioned), Pippin (mentioned) and Legolas (mentioned).
Setting: Emyn Muil, Middle Earth.
Warnings: Implied Frodo/Sam.
Word Count: 1,111.
Story: Frodo and Sam share a cute moment in the midst of Emyn Muil and Frodo decides that sometimes there can be good moments in their evil journey since Sam is by his side.
17. No. 17 Evil by 13eyond13irthday [Reviews - 0] (5054 words)
Okay, so I could have gone with the generic evil LOTRs fic based on Sauron etc. but I was listening to This is Halloween by Marilyn Manson, and I got this idea for the fic, which is basically Mirkwood is a place full of monster found in the Halloween world in A Nightmare Before Christmas.
I don't know it doesn't really make sense xD but it sounded like a good idea at the time.
So there are Frankenstein's monster like elves, ghost elves, zombie elves, Legolas is like a vampire elf, Thranduil is pretty much a werewolf elf xD
And young Estel meets Legolas for the first time, and is very freaked out by him.
So yeah, I should not be allowed to write fanfics sometimes xD
Characters: Legolas, Thranduil, Elladan, Elrohir, Estel, Elrond (mentioned), Sauron (mentioned) and some random elves.
Setting: Mirkwood, Middle Earth.
Warnings: Evil elves.
Cross-over: Lord of the Rings/A Nightmare Before Christmas.
Word Count: 5,034
Story: Elladan and Elrohir bring a young Estel with them to Mirkwood to meet their elven friend, Legolas. When Estel meets Legolas he immediately knows there is something different about this elf, and then even more events lead Estel to the same conclusion; Mirkwood elves are different. Eventually Legolas explains; because of Sauron they are not different, they are evil.
18. No. 18 Naughty by 13eyond13irthday [Reviews - 0] (2165 words)
I was originally going to write a story about little Legolas, Elladan and Elrohir, but I decided to portray Legolas being naughty at his age in The Two Towers. So here he is, again, in No. 18, being naughty.
Okay, so stealing wine from a King is probably worse than just being naughty, but it's still naughty regardless of what punishment it might incur.
Whatever it might look like this is a bromance between Legolas and Gimli, nothing more.
Characters: Legolas, Gimli, Theoden, Eomer, Gandalf, Aragorn, Merry, Pippin, Sauron (mentioned).
Setting: Meduseld, Edoras, Middle Earth.
Warnings: Bromance, implied Estel/Aragorn x Legolas.
Word Count: 2,153.
Story: Legolas decides he wants to toast to victory with Gimli, using the Kings best wine. Therefore he tricks Theoden, Eomer, Gandalf and Aragorn with ale and steals the wine they had been drinking. When he and Gimli drink together, they discuss their relationship and what it means to them.
19. No. 19 Honesty by 13eyond13irthday [Reviews - 0] (2599 words)
Finally I've finished no. 19. I've been settling into life at Uni, so whenever I sat down to write this I remembered something else I had to do before I could. But here it is, finished.
I wasn't quite sure what to do for honesty, and since I'm on a Faramir high at the moment (and a Legolas high since the Hobbit comes out semi-soon) I thought I'd write a fic with both of them in it and low and behold, this thing was created. Faramir lied to Aragorn about who he was and has come to tell the truth, but he encounters Legolas before he can.
Characters: Legolas, Gimli (mentioned), the hobbits (mentioned), Aragorn.
Setting: Minas Tirith, Gondor, Middle Earth.
Warnings: Bromance, implied Aragorn x Legolas.
Word Count: 2,597
Story: Faramir has been lying to Aragorn for the months that he has been King about his real identity, he did not want to admit to him that Boromir was his brother. He feels that it is time to tell him the truth, but he meets Legolas before he can and ends up talking to the elf before Aragorn turns up and Faramir can be honest.
20. No. 20 Trickery. by 13eyond13irthday [Reviews - 0] (1807 words)
This is the fourth fic I've done for my 100 Theme Challenge, no.20 - Trickery.
When the fellowship is denied acces to Caras Galadrim (not sure if I spelt that right xD) Legolas decides to play a little trick on Haldir to force the elf to allow them further into Lothlorien and give them shelter. Things go according to plan, with a little help from Lady Galadriel.
Characters; Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn, Haldir, Merry, Pippin, Frodo, Sam (Hobbits are mentioned), Boromir, Lady Galadriel (mentioned)
Word Count: 1,804.
Story: Legolas tricks Haldir into letting the Fellowship into Lothlorien.
21. No. 21 Creation by 13eyond13irthday [Reviews - 1] (11000 words)
Okay so this particular fic is over 10,000 words long xD it's quite complicated I guess and it might seem rather incoherant at the end, that's because I'm ill and writing is hard when I'm ill, but I wanted to get it out of the way so I could focus on learning my hieroglyphics for Egyptian Language.
This fic didn't take me half as long to write as some of the others and it's by the far the longest one I've done so far. It's for no. 21 Creation, as you can probably tell by the title and it was really fun writing it.
I'm not sure where the idea came from for this fic, but it came from somewhere and I decided it was a good idea xD It's basically Legolas has been changed into this robotic, killing machine of an elf and Elrond asks Aragorn to change him back if he can for the sake of Thranduil.
You should get the basic drift of the story from reading it. xD
It's kind of a cross over of the books and the movies, but I hardly notice I'm doing that until half way through so those of you that don't think you know of certain things happening they either came from my imagination or happen in the books and not the movies.
Characters: Legolas, Aragorn, Gimli, Gandalf, Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Sauron, Haldir, Thranduil, Galion, Elrond, Glorfindel, Arwen (mentioned), Theoden (mentioned). There might be more but these are the ones I remember.
Setting: Middle Earth.
Warnings: Very explicitly implied Aragorn/Legolas.
Cross-over: LOTR films/books.
Word Count: 11,000
Story: Sick of the death of the friends and family when fighting the forces of Sauron a group of elves take over Mirkwood and force Thranduil from the throne. These elves then dabble with dark magic to create a race of super elves, super fighters, and turn Legolas, Thranduil's only son, into one of them. Thranduil manages to get Legolas out of Mirkwood with Rivendell where Elrond enlists the help of Aragorn to see if the ranger can bring the elf back to who he is supposed to be.
22. No. 22 Destruction by 13eyond13irthday [Reviews - 0] (4498 words)
This is a slightly lighter take on the theme of destruction. I wanted to write a Legodir (Legolas x Haldir) fic, and the theme of destruction gave me so many paths that I could take that I wasn't sure which one to choose, so instead of writing a confusing, long fic about the battle that brings about the destruction, I decided to mix the Legodir fic and this theme together.
So, yeah there is lots of Legolas/Haldir in this fic, and though I prefer other Legolas ships to this particular ship this fic was quite fun to write. The actual destruction part of the fic is quite small and is done so as a sort of anecdote, with Haldir describing it. But still, there is destruction and if you squint the theme does run through the whole thing, with lots of references to the failure of our blonde elves relationship.
I have been up for 19 hours straight at the moment, so the end of it might be a bit muddled and stuff, but what the hell.
Characters: Legolas, Haldir, the fellowship (mentioned), Galadriel (mentioned), Gandalf (mentioned), Celeborn (mentioned), Sauron (mentioned), Thranduil (mentioned), Uruk-Hai, orcs, goblins.
Setting: Lorien, Middle Earth.
Word Count: 4,478
Story: While the Fellowship is in Lothlorien recovering from Gandalf's demise in Moria, Haldir seeks out Legolas, who is about to bathe at the time. Legolas realises that something is bothering Haldir and when he asks Haldir eventually tells him that he saw the destruction of Lothlorien. Legolas listens and gives comfort.
23. No. 23 War by 13eyond13irthday [Reviews - 0] (1475 words)
Work is getting in the way of my 100 TC...stupid uni xD
Anyway, here is no. 23 War. I really don't like doing conventional fanfics xD, but I really didn't feel like writing an actual battle out in a fanfic, not a really long one anyway. So I had characters, namely Glorfindel and Erestor discuss war instead.
It's a short fic, more like drabble really; Glorfindel is reading about wars of the FA and SA and Erestor talks with him and attempts to comfort him, though he does not seem to succeed.
Characters: Glorfindel, Erestor.
Setting: Rivendell, Middle Earth.
Warnings: Slightly implied Glorfindel/Erestor
Word Count: 1,465.
Story: Erestor discovers his library is a mess and the culprit is sleeping in one of the corners: Glorfindel. When awake Glorfindel speaks to Erestor of war and what he thinks of it, what he believes will happen when Sauron is defeated.
24. No. 24 Peace by 13eyond13irthday [Reviews - 0] (3301 words)
Eventually I finally finished no 24 (even though I should technically be doing work right now xD )
So this took me so long because Uni work has really been bogging me down xD and I was really inspired when I first starting writing it but got less inspired to write it as time progressed. But here it is, finished and stuff.
I felt like focusing more on Bilbo and his adventure, although this is set after the events of the Hobbit have happened. And I know in the Hobbit Bilbo and Gandalf don't stay in Mirkwood, but this is my version of what might have happened had they. Plus, the battle of five armies just happened and therefore peace has followed, so it fit to the theme.
Characters: Bilbo, Gandalf, Thranduil, Legolas, Aragorn, Galion, Thorin (mentioned).
Setting: Mirkwood, Middle Earth.
Word Count: 3,301.
Ada - dad
Neth pen - young one.
Story: Thranduil offers accommodation to Gandalf and Bilbo in his halls at Mirkwood before they make the journey back to the Shire. Gandalf refuses at first, but Bilbo accepts the offer eventually and they end up travelling to Mirkwood, where there is a surprise waiting for them and Bilbo meets some key figures in the war of the Ring 60 years later.
25. No. 25 Tribal by 13eyond13irthday [Reviews - 0] (4974 words)
Finally no. 25 is finished. It won't take me as long anymore to write them because I've planned what each theme is going to be about, it's all down to having free time to actually write them.
But anyway, not sure how many challenges I've actually got done, because I've done some of the later ones as well, but here is no. 25, Tribal.
Just a note as well because when I read back through it this didn't make sense to me. Legolas says that they are going to take Estel to his father, but in the end they don't actually do that. It's because when Legolas goes to tell his father that they captured someone in the woods he ordered Legolas to poison him so they could sacrifice him without finding out who he was.
Characters: Estel, Elladan, Elrohir, Elrond, Legolas, Thranduil, Galion, random elves from Mirkwood.
Setting: Mirkwood, Middle Earth.
Warnings: Very lightly implied incest (Elladan/Elrohir), Legolas/Estel, elf seduction.
Word Count: 4,914.
Story: Estel has heard stories of Mirkwood and the mythical tribal elves that live there and he manages to get Elladan and Elrohir to go with him. In the woods Estel is captured by the elven prince of the wood elves Legolas, who seduces him in order to follow his father's orders, to sacrifice the boy.
