and dust frosts the sere parchment --
but the words glow fresh.
Those are nice evocations of LOTR moments.

Short but incredibly effective. If Haikus means short then please excuse me. I'm still learning english! lol. Well done. Keep it up! I like Frodo's the best. Probably because I like FRODO best. Oh well...

Author's Response: Thank you for your kind words. A haiku is a kind of structured poem (I think it's Japanese or something) that is 3 lines long; having 5 syllables in the 1st line, 7 in the 2nd, and 5 again in the 3rd.
