Date: 07/09/13 - 05:30 pm Title: 8. Day 8 ----- Edoras

From what I read in the newspapers quite some time ago, the locals petitioned the National Park Dept. to allow Edoras to remain standing as a tourist attraction, but Park regulations required that the village be dismantled and the road leading to it erased, leaving the landscape in pristine condition. What a loss for LotR enthusiasts!

If you want to read about The Blue Frog's food specialties, read my story "Trahald the Laborer".

The Dog & Frog Café, eh? As you probably know from my stories, a popular inn/tavern on The Pelennor is The Blue Frog, just a couple of miles beyond Othram in the New City Quarter. I had no knowledge of the café in Picton at the time I created it.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! The Dog and Frog, did very good ice cream... whats The Blue Frogs speciality? :)

Sounds like an exciting day indeed. Was Liv Tyler there too?

Author's Response: Thanks for the review!! Liv Tyler was not there :( Representing the elf ladies were Cate Blanchett and Evangeline Lilly. I was most excited to meet PJ, Richard Taylor and John Rhys Davies...

Did you get to keep the wizard's staffs?

By the way, did you ever finish reading "Lothlórien Autumn"? I'm thinking of writing a third adventure in this series.

Author's Response: we did not get to keep the staffs :( they were put back for the next tour group to use. Thanks for the review. I think I did finish LA, but I am on a rereading spree of my favourites so it might get read again... reading Typically Atypical at the moment...very sad she has not finished it.

A fascinating adventure, thus far. You must have come home with enough pictures to fill a few albums.

Author's Response: Thanks, yes I've filled three photobooks so far. I think it was about 2000 pictures that I ended up with. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
