You know, Aragorn and Faramir make far more sense to me than Aragorn and Arwen. I believe that Tolkien added her to the story as a Beren and Lúthien for Lord of the Rings because he was told flatly that the Silmarillion would never be publishable. I truly wish that Tolkien had been able to write more fascinating females, but even in the Silmarillion, which has far more than LOTR, they are given short shrift. Women were not his strong point. Arwen leaves me indifferent (especially because I felt Aragorn should have married Eowyn.) so I can easily see her not wanting sexual intimacy.
I think your Aragorn and your Faramir, who is so beautiful (as he was in the book)could become one of my favourite canon couples.
