'A touch was beyond resisting.' I love that line. This shows your wonderful choice of words and how to use them to make this even more romantic. Their love just shines through. I love Glandur's pov. He is such a strong figure as a warrior and now a guard, but with Antien, he almost can't express his love. It's like words aren't enough and that's just how I see him. Great cliff hanger too.
THis is a delightful story- very gentle and affectionate. I like the detail and trivai of daily life against a wider backdrop, and the give and take of the lovers. So glad I found it! Beautifully written.
Author's Response: Thank you for taking the time to read. I hope you will like the next cahpter, which i feel more comfortable with. It is my little bit of slash fluff
You have captured both Antien and Glandur perfectly. Antien is young and amazed by everything and Glandur is reminded of what it's like to be young. Antien's concern for the girls really shows his compassion. Your descriptions of baking a cake and hanging a blind are just great. I am right there with them watching them work. You paint a very vivid picture. The strawberries and whipped cream is a nice subtle touch also. I am just smiling ear to ear my friend. I am happy to share these two with you.
My heart is just soaring over this. It's like you are in my brain. This is exactly how I see Antien and Glandur. They are just a simple couple in love, learning how to live a new life in Ithilien. I have to laugh at the tea spitting incident. And when Antien takes the folded piece of paper from the trash and tucks it away, that just made my heart melt. I am so glad you posted this. It is so wonderfully written. You have done them justice.
