I like the idea that even the dread lord, Mandos, has a heart - and how much more tragic then, his pronouncement. It is his recognition of the children amongst them that does it for me. Terrific idea
Author's Response: Thank you my dear Ziggy. Getting thru silm is difficult, but I have reaad and reread The Doom of the North. There is a big story there. I believe the Valar did love the Elves. It would have been a grief to be the one to pronounce that doom.
I really liked this. First of all, it showed Namo as an actual person, instead of just the place of the dead, Mandos. It gave him a personality and thoughts and feelings. Very well done and thank you =)
Author's Response: The Valar are difficult to peg for me. Thanks so much lovely. I'm working on more. Hugs Lisse
Namo's one of the more facinating Valar. But poor fellow, no one really knows what he's talking about half the time! Anyway, this is an excellent contribution to a great Vala. :)
Author's Response: Kitt, Thank you so much. I admire your writing so very much and am so pleased you enjoyed this.
