Title: The Dark and the Poet Reviewer: Spiced Wine Signed
Wow! That's really something different, Erwin! I wonder who is dreaming this? It's the birth and beginnings of a race - orcs, I wondered, from some of the writing? That chapter was very dark and disturbing actually, but like the young man, I want to know the rest of it.

Author's Response: Of course, the young man just wants to get the hell out of there. But I try to keep the attention of the readers, for my story develops slowly.

Hi Erwin,

I am posting this here, as yes, I think you should make your most recently posted story 'Of Wains' the second chapter of this one, rather than a separate story, and if I post the review here, you won't lose it if you do decide to do that.

I love your description of the stars (far removed from the Northern stars and tales associated with them) and seeing the old legends from a Haradhrim's viewpoint.

Saeed puzzles me, and I am interested to read more. I found it amusing that Masomakali knows the very beautiful looking weapons are not war-worthy, although the way you described the lanterns was beautiful.

And the poem, that was fascinating. Was it translated from Orcish, I wonder?

Author's Response:

Hey Siân,

You are too kind with your words, but I thank you. And for your question, all will be answered in due time ;) If you ever feel like something is off or anything, do tell me, constructive criticism is good.

Hey, Erwin. :) I thought I would say how pleased I am that you are taking up writing again. I always respected the fact that you were the first person I saw on a role play site to take a culture and people that in Tolkien's works are usually seen as evil, or at the least a 'lesser' people (the Men of the Darkness, I believe Faramir called them) and to explore them from a very different point of view - their own.

I'm glad I could recover this for you and I hope to read more, to see where your ideas carry this story:).

Author's Response: -takes a deep bow- You will read more, don't you worry ;) But I do wonder as well where my story is going. I do have some ideas, but I just think of them while writing. Thank you for the review, even though you've already read it years ago
