Wow. This is very powerful- it's like love with the threat of death, peacefulness with a hint of dangerousness. I wonder as well what the leaves think about being taken over by the snow?- that's a very thought-provoking question! Beautiful!

That sometimes has run through my mind: how, uh, gory leaves on the snow can look.
But I do like how you tie 'blood on snow' into the last line. And the dancing in the snow sounds so freeing. :)
