I never really shipped Eowyn and Aragorn... even in the films or books, but this really gives her longing for him somethng tangible. I could see her writing this in her bed chamber with tears running down her cheeks.
The longing was made very visible through all the exclamations. She just wants someone to love her, someone to be her bulwark.
Very well done. I love Eowyn and your writings.
Author's Response: Thank you, that means so much to me!
"I see him there in leather and dust"
I love the entire poem, for the reasons I love all your works.
The line in quotes is very good. Keep writing
Author's Response: Keep writing. You are not the first person to tell me that. I don't think I will ever stop :)
I love this one, Dae! The longing in her was so vivid. I could see why she would turn to Aragorn when she first saw him and finally how Faramir turned out to be the perfect one.
Author's Response: Yeah, Eowyn is so sad. She's just looking for someone to be her pillar of strength so she can lean upon someone else, not just herself.
