Abortions are up to the woman. I have never understood why it is such a big issue in the US. All you need here is a doctor to sign something saying they recommend you have one, either because of your physical or mental health. ( Mine was both )
I've had one, for a good reason, and would have killed myself had it not been an option. A woman has to live with the effects of choosing that option. It should never be a last-resort contraceptive, but it's a guilt we have to carry. No government has the right to take that choice from us. No-one who has not been through it can understand, neither should they presume to speak of it. It's a case of " Walk a mile in these shoes. "

Obama can be a druid as far as I'm concerned, the point it - can he run the USA?

I'm not sure his being elected would mean an automatic withdrawal from Iraq, it's rather more complex than that, but it's damned expensive, and it could drag on as long as Viet Nam, which is hardly feasible these days, unless some BIG money is given " under the table " by certain countries who believe the presence of foreign troops there makes the situation more stable. ( Stable being a relative term )

My b/f thinks Obama will be assassinated if he gets in. :(
I think he will and I hope he will be safe.

as for point number one, I do not think that abortion is NEVER an option... if you cannot or do not want to support the child, then give it up for adoption as there are many couples wanting a child.

The other three points are just very good and I agree with them too.

And you forgot one: who cares if Obama is Muslim? Religious affiliation has absolutely nothing to do with the ability to run the country.

Aw shit, she's going to run in 2012? Oh man the Mayans had it right. The world is totally going to end. ::shudders::

Being English, i dont know much about American politics , but it seems pretty interesting. I agree with point number two; he isn't muslim.. and people should have a choice whether to abort or not. At the end of the day, the best interest of the child should come first.
