Regrettably, I have not completely read the Silmarillion. . . . . Anyway, I like monologue, monologues are (almost) always good.

It was a little hard for me to get into some parts of it at first, but now I'm enjoying the Lay of Leithian and am confirmed as a crazed fan (as if you couldn't tell). ;) I read some good fanfiction that helped me get some of the characters and events straight in my head.
