This is so beautiful and tragical at the same time. So moving Sam`s uncondicional love for Frodo. You describe very well the Ring`s evil power. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful fic! You are a talented writer!

Ah, this is beautifully sad... I've no idea why, but I was drawn to this story strangely, as if it were calling. I love it that you wrote from Frodo'd point of view, and that you made up that balm part. That is so like Sam!
